Felons Brewing Co. has multiple dining areas, both of which are appealing to families, but for us, the Fish ‘n Chipper is the pick of the bunch. It’s an outdoor seating location on the riverside where you can sit and watch your kids play on the giant ship playground. Another dining option is inside the main Barrel Hall, which has games and activities for the kids to enjoy.

We recommend visiting Felons Brewing Co. on Sunday for their Sunday Family Fun Day. This community event features live music, games, and activities for families. Grab a table in the Fish ‘n Chipper and treat yourself to their fantastic craft beers and delicious food selection. Felons Brewing Co. is dog-friendly, so you can bring the whole family along. Please note that usual rules apply to dogs; they are not permitted inside the venue, only in outside areas.

Top Family Activities at Felons Brewing Co.

At Felons Brewing Co., there are many games and activities to ensure that your kids are guaranteed to have a blast. The main attraction for the kids is the Giant Ship playground, which is located in the Fish ‘n Chipper dining area. There are many eating tables around the ship, so you can keep an eye on the little ones. It gets quite busy, especially on the weekends, but you don’t have to wait long to get a table.

The ship is massive. It is a two-level structure with a tunnel slide from the top level. The ship is spacious inside, with plenty of room for the kids to run around.  Our kids loved it and were entertained for hours.

The fun doesn’t stop there, either. The main Barrel Hall has some fun activities for the whole family to get involved with. Challenge the kids to a game of table tennis on any one of the three ping-pong tables or a game of Giant Jenga. If you fancy retro gaming fun, there is also a row of seven pinball machines.

Fun Family activities – Reptiles, face painting and more

If you’re taking the family to Felons Brewing Co., Sunday is the day to do it. Their Sunday Family Funday is every Sunday from 11am-3pm and there is plenty to see and do. In the Barrel Hall, the kids can have their faces painted or be mesmerised by the balloon twister, creating animal masterpieces.

You might be lucky enough to witness the reptile show if you arrive early. We missed it, unfortunately, but we were informed by a staff member that the reptiles were on at around 11am. Sunday festivities also include live music and a game of Family Trivia, which starts at 12pm in the Barrel Hall. For a ripper deal, Kids-eat-free at Felons Brewing Co. every Sunday from 1pm-3pm.

Felons Brewing Menu – Dining at Felons Brewing Co.

Felons Brewing Co. offers various meal choices across two menus, complementing their refreshing brews. Most main meals on both menus are in the $25-$35 range, with some select steaks from the grill up around the $50-$60 range.

The Fish ‘n Chipper is a relaxed dining area that serves casual meal options. As the name suggests, fish and chips and seafood are prominent on the menu. But don’t panic if seafood isn’t your thing because there are plenty of other meals to choose from. These include everything from small bites and share platters to wood-fired pizzas and burgers.

For a more extensive selection, you may want to order from the main Barrel Hall menu, which also includes wood-fired pizzas and share platters. They also serve delicious nourish bowls, burgers, and steaks from the grill.

If you need a sweet fix, the main Barrel Hall offers a much better variety. You can choose from six different dessert options compared to the Fish ‘n Chipper, which only has two. Expect these to set you back anywhere from $7 (for a scoop of gelato) to $20.

Felons Brewing Co. caters to dietary requirements, even though they don’t advertise it. If you do have any requirements, just let the staff know, and they should be able to arrange something for you.

Felons Brewing kid’s menu – Kids eat free on Sundays

Kids’ meals at Felons Brewing Co. are all $16 and include the usual favourites: Pizza, Cheeseburger, Fish and Chips, and Crumbed Chicken Tenderloins. As mentioned earlier, Kids eat free every Sunday from 1pm to 3pm.
