A Sunshine Coast brewery for families and friends
Your Mates Brewery is situated within the industrial estate on Technology drive, in Warana, on the Sunshine Coast. It’s the place to be to enjoy great beers and great food, with your mates, as well as the family and kids. There is a cool new indoor playground surrounded by seating booths. So sit back and enjoy a schooner of Larry (their delicious Pale Ale) and let the kids run wild.
A fully enclosed childrens play area and games
Up the back of the brewery is a kid’s corner. A fully enclosed indoor play area, with an indoor play house, as well as a slide and pirate ship steering wheel. Down below there is a kid’s kitchen and some fun games to keep the kids entertained. These include ten pin bowling pins and a game of giant Jenga. The kids area is surrounded by five seating booths and a couple of barrels and stools. This is a great feature, so you can keep a close eye on the little ones.
Your Mates Beer and refreshments
On the taps you will find a refreshing Pale Ale, as well as an IPA and Aussie Lager. If you are in for a big sesh, or feeling sensible, you might want to give the mid-strength XPA a go. For the lovers of Dark Ales, they’ve got you covered also. Expect to see a few more beers on the taps, as they are constantly offering other seasonal beers. There are a few tap options for the non- beer drinkers also, including an alcoholic ginger beer as well as an apple cider. All are named after mates, which is quite cool.
With so many delicious options on the menu, if you can’t decide what to drink, they offer a tasting paddle for $18. On Tuesday to Friday, from 3pm-5pm there is a Happy Hour, with $5 Schooners.
If the tap options don’t tickle your fancy, there are also plenty of other refreshments on offer. Unlike a lot of other breweries, they also have a list of red and white wines, by the glass or bottle. As well as a little cocktail list containing some of their own brews. And for the non-drinkers and the kids, there are soft drinks and juices available.
Your mates menu – Pub classic food done well
Your Mates are serving up all day snacks and share plates. The mains are priced from $23 to $28, and served between 11am and 3pm, as well as 5:30pm to 8:30pm. You will see a few pub classics, as well a smoked brisket and vegan parmy. For a burger and chips, expect to pay about $20. There are a few to choose from, as well as a vegan burger also.
We really love the weekday lunch special – salad, or burger and chips, with a pot of beer, for $18. How good!
The most common dietary requirements are catered for here, with gluten free and dairy free options as well as the vegan and vegetarian meals.
Your mates kids menu – Little mates
Kids meals are $12 and consist mac and cheese, as well as a cheeseburger or pop corn chicken and chippies.
