A great restaurant for families Noosa
Tewantin Noosa RSL is situated on Memorial Avenue, right in the heart of Tewantin. It has all the entertainment and facilities that you would expect in an RSL, including live music, as well weekly promotions and great food and drink. There are also regular family friendly events and celebrations, and on Wednesdays they offer a kids eat free deal.
Open 7 days a week, with a bistro serving up a variety of meals, for lunch and dinner, as well as a café and three bars (including a sports bar). Perfect for families, they also have a fully enclosed area for the kids to play. With the play area inside, it is great option for rainy days as well.
A fully enclosed, indoor play centre for the kids
Right alongside the bistro restaurant you will find a fully enclosed area for the kids to play. There is numerous seating and tables situated around the play area, so you can be close enough to keep an eye on the kids through the glass. It’s quite a large play area, with plenty space for the kids to run around. There is also a large screen TV displaying kids programs, with beanbags. At the opposite end of the room you will find a row of computer tablets and a large black board to draw on.
Tewantin Noosa RLS Menu – A bistro serving up your club favourites
The bistro menu is nothing short of what you would expect to see in any good pub. Serving up everything from club favourites, as well as their own signature dishes, an impressive seafood menu and salads. They even have a designated vegan section on the menu. Most meals are in the $20-$25 price range with some of the steaks creeping up around the $30-$35 range.
Club favourites include the roast of the day, as well as parmies, schnitzels and burgers. The grill has a selection of steaks, along with a half Portuguese chicken. Their signature meals include a slow cooked beef brisket, as well as grilled salmon and prawns, and crispy pork belly with Harvey Bay scallops. If you love seafood, then the grilled dory, fish tacos, or marinara pasta, should sort you out.
For the vegans, there is an earth burger with grilled vegetables, avocado, lettuce, tomato and vegan aioli. Yum! Other meals include cauliflower florettes, as well as a vegetable pasta, and vegetable stir fry. All these vegan meals are either gluten free or come with the option to make it gluten free.
All kid’s meals are $14 and come with a free soft drink and ice cream. Kids meals are pretty standard and include chicken nuggets, as well as battered flathead, pasta and a cheeseburger. The pasta and cheeseburger both come with the option to make it gluten free.
A family friendly café serving all-day food and beverages
The coffee shop is open from 11:30am to 8pm and offers tea and coffee as well as milk shakes and thick shakes. There is also a food menu with light meals and snacks, as well as sandwiches. There are also a small range of quiches, wraps and sweets in the window. Some of the meals include burgers (including a vegan option), as well as pasta, wedges and fries.
Multiple bars and plenty of facilities to keep you entertained
You will find three bars within the venue, all serving up your favourite drinks, including a range of tap and bottled beer, as well as wine and spirits. The Diggers Bar is the clubs sports bar and includes a range of facilities, such as pool tables, a dartboard and screens displaying live sport and TAB terminals. The first place to look if any of the dads go missing.
